Chuck Yeager tried making new altitude and speed record in which he succeeded in some and failed in some. one of his famous tries was when he used the NF-104 and risked his life where he had almost died.He had climbed 104,000 feet and got seriously injured but he returned back to flying after 6 weeks. This shows how interested and involved he is in flying and breaking new records.
